1. Contact Us
For questions about Kotori (the "App"), or to report a problem, please write to
support@mainichi-apps.win
A reply may take a few days. When reporting a problem, it helps if you can include:
- Your device (for example, iPhone 15 / Android)
- The app version (if the settings screen shows one)
- Which screen you were on, and what you did when it happened
2. How to Use the App
- Tapping a self-care action on the home screen records it straight away. There is no save button.
- You can close the App and pick up where you left off next time.
- To erase your records, tap “Delete all records” on the Settings screen, then choose “Delete” in the confirmation dialog.
3. Frequently Asked Questions
- Is what I record sent anywhere?
- No. Records are stored only on your device. There is no account and no sign-in, and nothing is sent to an external server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- How do I delete everything?
- You can delete everything the App has stored from “Delete all records” on the Settings screen. Deleting the App also removes your records. This cannot be undone.
- Can I move my records to a new phone?
- Not at the moment, because the records live only on your device. On a new device you start again from scratch.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. The App does not need any network connection to work.
- Are there ads or in-app purchases?
- No.
- Where can I find someone to talk to?
- Open "Settings" and tap the counselling links. You can place a call, or open Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare page "Mamorouyo Kokoro" (https://www.mhlw.go.jp/mamorouyokokoro/).
- How far back are my entries kept?
- Up to the most recent 60 days. Older entries are deleted automatically.
4. If Something Goes Wrong
- Close the App completely and open it again.
- If that does not help, restart your device.
- Check the App Store / Google Play for an update.
- If it still happens, email support@mainichi-apps.win with the three details listed above.
Reinstalling the App can fix some problems, but it also erases your records. Please treat it as a last resort.
